As we move from summer into fall, the last of the seasonal strawberries should be savored. Our grocery stores have a few left so grab some quickly and make some Easy Strawberry Jam. This strawberry jam will give you another few weeks of summery strawberry goodness as you begin to bundle up and wonder if we are in for a hard winter (well, not me really…I live in Florida!). Easy Strawberry Jam Recipe
1 Quart Strawberries, hulled
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Fresh squeezed lemon juice
- In blender, add strawberries and blend until coarsely chopped.
- In large skillet over medium high heat, add strawberries, sugar and lemon juice. Stir frequently until thickened and fully boiling, about 10 minutes.
- Transfer jam to sterile jars and allow to cool uncovered.
- When cool, cover and refrigerate. Keep up to two weeks.
